A Chicago-based Registered Dietitian and food lover! Originally from Wisconsin, Leah attended the University of Wisconsin-Madison for her Bachelor’s degree in nutrition. She then moved to Nashville where she attended Vanderbilt University Medical Center for her dietetic internship, later obtaining her Master’s degree in nutrition from the University of Alabama.
Outside of work, you can catch Leah at a local farmer’s market or walking her pet dachshund around the neighborhood! She is passionate about cooking and is always creating new recipes in the kitchen whenever she has a chance (her dog approves).
Leah is a strong believer that good nutrition is about more than just how the food affects us, but how it affects the world. As Prime Roots said best – she likes making the good stuff even better. She believes small changes can make a big impact, and there is no time like the present to start! She is passionate about helping others build healthy, delicious, and sustainable eating patterns to fit both their lifestyles and their taste buds.
